The Ottawa Legal Information Centre offers a free 30-minute meeting with a lawyer in person or by telephone to all residents of Ontario. Information, referral and support services are offered in English and in French, on a confidential basis.

The Legal Information Centre can help you understand your rights and obligations so you can handle your legal issues relating to the Express Entry process, sponsorship, study or work permits, obtaining temporary or permanent resident status, refugee claims, or any other issue pertaining to immigration in Ontario.

  • Monday: 1 pm to 5 pm
  • Tuesday: 9 am to 12 pm | 1 pm to 5 pm
  • Wednesday: 9 am to 12 pm | 1 pm to 5 pm | 5 pm to 7 pm by appointment only.
  • Thursday: 9 am to 12 pm | 1 pm to 5 pm
  • Friday: 9 am to 12 pm
